CENTRAIDE / UNITED WAY FUNDRAISING CAMPAING

Towards climate justice for the most vulnerable

Seb Audy aims to support the worldwide movement that is encouraging urgent action to protect the environment. Above all, he wants his expeditions to promote efforts to find solutions in order to minimize impacts on vulnerable people at home and abroad.

To do this, Seb Audy also aims to make La Grande Percée a major fundraising event serving the mission of the United Way movement by collecting donations and raising public awareness of social inequalities accentuated by environmental challenges.

La Grande Percée Pôle-2-Pôle thus symbolizes the openness to climate justice so that the most vulnerable among us are at the heart of policies for adapting to climate change today and tomorrow.

Supports

All the organizations of the Centraide movement in Quebec are mobilizing in partnership with La Grande Percée and providing support to polar explorer Sebastien Audy in the quest for his ideal of reconciling social justice and climate change. Centraide is known at United Way in the rest of Canada and in the US.
